The Nursing program at the Technical University of Machala studies nursing care for individuals at different stages of the life cycle, as well as for families, communities, and the environment. It focuses on diagnosing health-disease processes within its area of ​​expertise, applying actions for health promotion, prevention, recovery, and rehabilitation for both healthy and ill individuals. The program aims to ensure physical, mental, and social well-being within the existing global, Latin American, national, and local contexts, respecting the diversity of beliefs, races, and cultures. To achieve this, it utilizes teaching, administrative, and research processes in its training, thereby guaranteeing comprehensive care services.
