Since its inception, the Faculty of Health Sciences has been responsible for providing the highest level of scientific and humanistic training in the health field, respecting human rights, gender equality, and the environment. This training enables future professionals to contribute to the country's human development and to achieve full personal and professional fulfillment—challenges that must be met with responsibility. The faculty maintains a strong connection between its academic life and the needs of the productive and social sectors of the community in the Babahoyo Canton and its surrounding areas, in the Los Ríos Province, and throughout the region.
